PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF CONDUCTING COMMISSIONED FORENSIC EXPERT EXAMINATIONS

The article analyzes the joint activities of a commission of forensic experts in the process of their execution of forensic expert studies. We are talking about a commission examination, when two or more forensic experts in one expert speciali- zation are involved in its execution for a certain period of time. When conducting examinations, a group of forensic experts, just like an expert who conducts the examination individually, is guided by the relevant norms of procedural legislation and departmental regulations that regulate the procedure for conducting forensic examinations.The general structure of expert activity is related to its legal regulation and is disclosed in the norms of criminal and civil procedural legislation. Objectivity, reliability and comprehensive expert research depend on the psychological interaction between the members of the commission, on their ethical qualities such as impartiality and objectivity, on their consistency and psychological impact. The specificity of the activities of a commission of experts from a psychological point of view related to the administration of justice is emphasized. In the mentioned activity of forensic experts, its main features are highlighted.The author identifies psychological aspects of conducting an examination by a commission of forensic experts, such as ethical requirements for experts (impartiality, objectivity); confidentiality and prohibition of using official position for personal purposes; psychological interaction between commission members to ensure consistency of conclusions; effective communication between commission members, which is an important condition for exchanging information and discussing complex issues; objective analysis of all aspects of the study so that the conclusion is as reliable as possible.Understanding these aspects is key to ensuring objectivity, reliability and comprehensiveness of the study, which helps to make the right legal decision in the future.
