FEATURES OF PUBLIC POLICY ЕNSURING THE INTEGRITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN WARTIME

Abstract

In the article, with the use of the legal method of scientific knowledge, the peculiarities of the state policy of ensuring integrity of law enforcement officials in wartime are considered. The analysis of national legislation, which regulates the behavior of police. The concept of virtuous by national and foreign bodies is made using the comparative method. Solving the problems of integrity of law enforcement officials requires extraordinary measures on law and order both by legislative and executive branches of power. The concept of integrity of law enforcement officials requires the development of crite- ria for its definition. The subject of research of this article is the peculiarities of the state policy of ensuring virtue of law enforcement officials in Ukraine in wartime. The purpose of the article is the general analysis and characteristics of the state policy of ensuring integrity of law enforcement officials in Ukraine, identifying features that interfere with the reforms of the system. The solution of these problems requires extraordinary measures from the legislative and executive branches of power to guide the law and order in the economy, to strengthen control, financial and power functions. In Ukraine, law enforcement reform requires rethinking and thorough scientific support, taking into account international norms, and the realities of wartime. The central object of research should be the rules of management decisions, which should be clearly written in the rules of law. It is at this stage of management that the most corruption abuses are. And strategic decisions of the state should include measures to promote the virtuous behavior of the law enforcement agencies. The peculiarity of the state policy of ensuring the integrity of law enforcement officials is the uncertainty of the criteria of this concept, in particular the absence of norms of virtuous behavior of law enforcement in wartime.
