CRIMINALIST IDEOLOGY AS AN ELEMENT OF CRIME FIGHTING TECHNOLOGY (INVITATION TO DISCUSSION)

Abstract

In the article, the technology of combating crime is defined as one that involves the use of the entire set of legal and forensic means. Among them, an essential element of the technology of combating crime is ideology, which we understand as a system of ideas, principles and values that determine the directions, forms, methods and goals of combating crime. It forms the conceptual basis for the development of forensic technologies, strategies and policies, security. Which also directs the activities of law enforcement agencies and society as a whole, and is a type of legal ideology as a component of state ideology. The problem we are investigating lies at the junction of the theory of law and state, criminal law, criminal procedure, criminology, forensics, criminal enforcement law and other legal sciences, which as well as the theory and practice of general and legal conflictology, philosophy, sociology, psychology, management theory, etc. This is a new form of connection between legal and other humanities with legal practice, regarding the general organization of the fight; prevention of crime; law enforcement activities. The use of ideology in the structure of technology for combating crime is an important resource that will allow to increase the effectiveness of forensic support for activities regarding the general organization of the fight; prevention (prevention) of crime; law enforcement activities, since criminals are becoming more and more inventive, and therefore the technologies used by law enforcement agencies must meet new challenges in the fight against crime through the use of relevant innovations to solve problems arising in this area and affecting changes in society. Therefore, without the appropriate “forensic ideology” this is impossible, since ideology is the foundation that unites: ethical standards (guarantees objectivity, justice and legality in the processes of investigating crimes); moral principles (respect for the law, observance of human and citizen rights, protection of the interests of society and the state); values in society (building an atmosphere of intolerance to crime, increasing trust in law enforcement agencies). From this perspective, ideology can contribute to the creation of a comprehensive approach to combating crime, ensuring harmony between technological, legal and social aspects.
