Abstract

The article considers the main factors of formation of victim behavior of minors. It is indicated that in the general sense, deviant behavior is any behavior that deviates from the norm, acquiring features that can make a person destructive, who, integrating into social relations, will destroy them by either promoting socially dangerous influence, or realizing it. It is noted that the deterministic complex of the victim behavior of minors consists of such elements as: 1) subjective risk factor – a cause-and-effect relationship between cognitive stereotypes and their potential influence on the choice of a method of response to the criminally illegal behavior of the subject of the offense; 2) conditional-situational correlates – phenomena and processes of objective reality that indirectly or directly affect the behavior of a person; 3) motivational mechanism – behavioral features of a criminal offender that influence the choice of a response method. It is proven that the guilt of the victim is almost always a consequence of the influence of social factors on the child’s growing up stage. The conditions in which a child is socialized determine his future behavior. The process of socialization begins in the family, and therefore children who are brought up in single-parent families (due to the lack of opportunity of the mother or father to fully raise a teenager due to lack of time), as well as in unfavorable families in which parents lead, often become victims of socially dangerous acts immoral lifestyle (having bad habits, engaging in criminal and illegal activities, committing acts of domestic violence both towards each other and towards the child, etc.). It is in such conditions that future provocative victims are brought up – persons who cause the commission of a criminal offense in relation to themselves by behavior that the criminal perceives as unacceptable, offensive, or aggressively defiant.
